Who we are
STX Tuning provides ECU remapping at our Slough workshop and mobile service. Contact us at info@stxtuning.co.uk.
What we collect
When you complete our quote form we collect your name, phone number, vehicle registration and details, the services you select, your postcode if you ask for a mobile appointment, and any notes you add. We do not ask for your email address. If you call or message us on WhatsApp we hold the contact details and message content you provide.
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, quote for work, arrange a callout and keep a record of work carried out. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Each enquiry is saved to our secure admin system and a notification is emailed to two internal business inboxes controlled by the owner, one of which uses a separate business domain for internal administration. If you choose WhatsApp, your enquiry summary is placed in a message that you send yourself through WhatsApp.
Analytics and storage
We measure visits with a first-party, cookie-free system that stores nothing on your device. Enquiry drafts and administrator sign-ins use the minimum browser storage needed for those features. If we later connect Google Analytics or Google Ads, those tools load only when configured by STX Tuning.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up work or warranty claim, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us by phone or email and we will action your request. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
