    Contacted these guys and they came out within 2 days fixed the car and now all is perfect again really happy with the remap done on my car too very polite, efficient service and would highly recommended

    I wanted to leave a genuine review, I got my car remapped on the 5th June 2026. Making the appointment was very easy, I didn’t have to wait too long for an appointment and had the option for someone to come to my house if needed. The remap was done within an hour or so. My light did come back on a week after the remap was done, but I was able to clear it with no issues and last weekend I took a 4 hour round trip to the beach and the light did not come back on when usually it does after about 1hr into a drive. The point of my long review is I highly recommend this company and I am very happy with the service provided.

    First time tuning my car. Didn’t know what to expect but it was amazing. They explained everything to me clearly, how it works etc and before you know it my car was ready. 10/10 polite service. Will be coming back in the future with serious motors, can tell these guys are professionals judging by tons of performance cars outside.

    Really five star service I’ve only got my car the day before I messaged on a Sunday just as an inquiry was more than Happy to take time of the day on a Sunday to fit me in last minute just want to think the whole team very professional and I absolutely love my car. I felt an instant power boost and explained everything to me and packages that I can definitely most likely in the future upgrade to will be definitely coming again.

We review the vehicle details, warning or requested change, existing modifications and intended use. We explain the available assessment or software route and confirm a quotation before booking.

What the warning or request tells us

A code or dashboard message is information for assessment, not a definitive diagnosis. Send the exact code, symptoms, fitted hardware and any previous software changes. Modified exhausts do not automatically require software changes or cause limp mode.

Scope and intended use

Software does not repair failed mechanical parts, sensors or wiring. Removing or disabling emissions equipment is not offered for road-going vehicles. Off-road, competition or export descriptions do not automatically establish eligibility; the application must be assessed.

Common Questions

Does a warning identify a failed part?

No. A code can have several causes. An enquiry does not establish a diagnosis or confirm that software is appropriate.

Is a service confirmed when I select it?

No. STX Tuning checks the exact vehicle, intended use and supported functions before confirming any available service or quotation.

Can the work be carried out mobile?

Only where the exact vehicle, programming requirements, location and agreed work are suitable. Workshop access may be required.

Support Doesn't End When Your Remap Is Complete

  • Eligible software warranty. Eligible STX Tuning software work carries a lifetime software warranty. It applies to the software work itself, as set out in the warranty terms; it is not cover for mechanical parts or other work.
  • Asking for help. Call or message us with your registration and what you've noticed. We'll arrange to check the vehicle.
  • How issues are assessed. We read the vehicle and check whether the concern relates to our software or something else, such as a fault or worn part.
  • Manufacturer updates. A dealer software update can overwrite a remap. Tell us if your vehicle has been updated and we'll advise on the next step.
  • Additional work. Diagnostics, repairs or new software work not covered by the warranty are quoted before anything is done.
