The 24 listed model families above cover the records currently in our library, not every Volkswagen ever produced. Select the generation and factory output matching your car; a shared model badge does not guarantee the same engine, ECU or gearbox.
Stage 1 normally retains standard performance hardware; Stage 2 requires the parts specified for that engine. Some ECUs need unlocking or workshop access at our Slough workshop.
Volkswagen gearbox considerations
DSG versions such as the DQ200, DQ250 and DQ381 have different torque limits. The gearbox affects which tune is sensible for your car.
Volkswagen questions
- Are the Golf R Mk7, Mk7.5 and Mk8 the same to tune?
- No. Each generation is listed separately because the engine software and figures differ.
- Does my DSG need tuning too?
- Not always. It depends on the gearbox version and the torque of the engine tune. We advise for your exact car.
Available figures are estimates, not a dyno result for your vehicle. If your engine is missing, send the registration and configuration for assessment rather than applying another variant's numbers.
