What xHP Flashtool offers
xHP is the leading off-the-shelf calibration suite for ZF 6HP and 8HP transmissions, offering three stages of shift calibration, launch control setup, torque limit adjustments and per-mode tuning. For many vehicles it's an excellent, proven solution.
Beyond BMW
ZF gearboxes are used across Jaguar, Land Rover and several other manufacturers. Where xHP or an equivalent calibration exists for your vehicle, we supply, install and set it up correctly — including adapting it to any engine tuning already fitted.
Installed and set up properly
A gearbox flash isn't just plug-and-play: adaptation procedures depend on the transmission and calibration instructions, the calibration needs matching to your engine's torque output, and the car needs a proper road test. We handle the whole process and explain the new behaviour before you drive away.

Suitability depends on the supported application, exact transmission and its condition. We check compatibility and discuss the intended calibration before quoting.
My car isn't a BMW — can you still help?
If it uses a ZF 6HP or 8HP transmission, quite possibly. Jaguars, Land Rovers and several others use these boxes. Send your registration and we'll confirm support.
Can I choose how aggressive the shifts are?
Yes — xHP offers multiple stages and per-mode settings. We'll help you choose and can adjust the setup after you've lived with it.
Support Doesn't End When Your Remap Is Complete
- Eligible software warranty. Eligible STX Tuning software work carries a lifetime software warranty. It applies to the software work itself, as set out in the warranty terms; it is not cover for mechanical parts or other work.
- Asking for help. Call or message us with your registration and what you've noticed. We'll arrange to check the vehicle.
- How issues are assessed. We read the vehicle and check whether the concern relates to our software or something else, such as a fault or worn part.
- Manufacturer updates. A dealer software update can overwrite a remap. Tell us if your vehicle has been updated and we'll advise on the next step.
- Additional work. Diagnostics, repairs or new software work not covered by the warranty are quoted before anything is done.
