A: Yes – we only recommend Stage 2 if your car is in good mechanical health and fitted with the correct supporting hardware. All remaps stay within safe limits.
A: Absolutely. We’ll re-tune your ECU to take full advantage of your hardware upgrades.
A: It depends how you drive. Under light throttle, economy can be similar. Under load, fuel use will increase due to higher output.
A: In some cases, yes – especially for higher torque diesels or performance DSG gearboxes. We’ll advise based on your model.
A: ECU tuning usually takes 2–3 hours. With hardware fitting, it may take a full day depending on the work.
A: The map will be limited, or you risk over-stressing your engine. We only install Stage 2 software once the correct hardware is fitted.
A: Yes. Stage 2 setups are designed to be daily-drivable while delivering enhanced performance.
A: Some mods (e.g. decats or DPF removal) may affect MOT compliance. We can advise and offer MOT-safe tuning where required.
