Tuning the Audi RS3 8V PFL

S3 models use the four cylinder 2.0 TFSI EA888 family; RS3 models use the five cylinder 2.5 TFSI. Within each, pre facelift, facelift and later generations run different ECU platforms, which is why every generation is listed on its own.

Most are fitted with S tronic dual clutch gearboxes. We confirm the gearbox and its software before advising on torque.

Is an 8V tuned the same as an 8Y?
No. The ECU platform changes between generations, so each has its own calibration.
Do I need gearbox tuning?
Not always. It depends on the gearbox version and the torque of the engine tune.

    Had my 2014 Golf GTI remapped by STX Tuning and I couldn’t be happier. The power gains are instantly noticeable—sharper throttle, stronger pull, and overall much more fun to drive.     Honestly well happy with the stage 1 re map, was worried if I would even feel a power difference from 125-151bhp but I can assure you it’s a difference, aswell as a good high change in torque. It took about 30 minutes, brilliant service, and dome good tips on how to take care of my car after ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
